Who are these courses for?
Anyone who wants to start or grow a business, move into leadership or management, contribute to a startup, or simply understand business better. No prior degree or experience is required.
How long do I have to complete a course?
Courses are fully self-paced and your access does not expire. Most students finish a course in three to six weeks studying a few hours per week, but you can go faster or slower.
What does a course cost?
Nothing. Every course and every published article on this site is free. There is no payment step, no subscription, and no credit card required at any point.
How are courses delivered?
Entirely online and entirely in writing. Each course contains written curriculum, practical exercises, module quizzes, and a final assessment — all readable on any device.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. When you complete every lesson and pass the assessments you can download a printable COBS — Certificate of Business Studies, which records the coursework you finished. It is a certificate of completion from a non-accredited school, not a professional designation or license, and it should not be represented as one.
What is the passing score for quizzes?
Module quizzes require 75% to pass, and the final mastery assessment requires 70%. You can retake any quiz as many times as you need.
Do I need any special software?
No. Everything runs in your web browser on a phone, tablet, or computer. Your progress is saved automatically as you go.
Do I have to create an account?
Only if you want your progress saved and your certificate issued in your name. The published articles and course material can be read without signing in.
Is this an accredited college?
No. Mesquite College of Business Studies is not an accredited college or university and does not offer accredited academic degrees.
